HARMONISE showcasing energy-management solutions at ENLIT 2025

Bilbao, Spain — 20 November 2025

HARMONISE will take part in ENLIT Bilbao 2025, Europe’s leading event on sustainable energy, energy transition and decarbonisation. Representing the consortium, Dr. Christos Korkas from CERTH will join the panel “Energy Communities & Positive Energy Districts”, where he will briefly present HARMONISE’s work on optimised energy management for Positive Energy Districts (PEDs) and how smart coordination of buildings and local energy assets can support the creation of net-positive districts.

He will be joined on stage by Gorka Naveran Lanz (FEDECOM, Veolia), Lorena Sánchez Relaño (InterPED, R2M), Veronica Cerna (ASCEND, Twentycomms), and Rubén García Pajares from the NEUTRALPATH coordination team (CARTIF). The session will be moderated by Silvia Ielmini (ICONS) and will take place on 20 November from 10:00 to 11:30 in Theatre 2.

Alongside the panel, HARMONISE will participate in the joint booth “FLEXIBLE SOLUTIONS EMPOWERING CITIZENS” (stand 5.F30-S014), together with BUILDON, Hystore, ECHO, BEST-Storage, ThumbsUp, FEDECOM, InterPED, ASCEND, NEUTRALPATH and Open Lab. Throughout the event, visitors will be able to explore interactive demonstrations, hands-on activities and insights into how retrofitting, governance frameworks, stakeholder engagement and emerging business models can help European cities progress towards climate neutrality.
