The HARMONISE consortium convened its 3rd General Assembly in Tallinn, Estonia, on 8–9 October 2025, marking another important milestone in the project’s journey toward the first reporting period review. Hosted by TalTech and coordinated by CERTH, the two-day meeting gathered all project partners to review the progress of ongoing work packages, share completed results, and plan the next steps for the coming months. The discussions focused on assessing the achievements of the second project year, ensuring alignment across all technical and demonstration activities, and strengthening collaboration among partners.
The first day began with a warm welcome from TalTech and CERTH, followed by an overview of the project’s overall progress and upcoming objectives. The consortium reviewed the status of each work package in detail, highlighting the accomplishments of WP3 led by CERTH, including the advancements made across Tasks T3.1 to T3.6. CIRCE and TalTech presented a live demonstration of the PED Expansion Toolbox, showcasing its technical features and functionality. MAPS, leading WP2, provided updates on the integration and interoperability aspects of the project, while MiW introduced the timeline and goals of WP5, which will launch large-scale demonstration activities by the end of the second project year. The afternoon sessions featured an extended presentation by MAPS on the End-to-End Aggregation Platform, demonstrating how project data is processed and visualized. This led to an in-depth technical discussion between partners on data management, pilot infrastructure readiness, and integration requirements. The first day concluded with a project dinner hosted by TalTech, giving partners the opportunity to exchange ideas in a more informal setting.
The second day focused on preparations for the upcoming first reporting period review. CERTH presented WP6, summarizing its objectives, results, and achievements, followed by an overview of WP1 and WP4 led by EnGreen, which shared their progress on data collection and deliverables. WP2 and WP3 leaders, MAPS and CERTH, also outlined their plans for the second year. Later, KINNON presented WP7’s dissemination and exploitation strategy, emphasizing the importance of promoting project results and enhancing the visibility of HARMONISE at the European level.
The meeting concluded with an interactive exploitation workshop led by KINNON, where partners collaborated to identify new Key Exploitable Results. Through group discussions, they defined potential exploitable outcomes, linked them to specific work packages and partners, and explored how these results could generate tangible value. The session resulted in the identification of more than 15 new potential exploitable results, reinforcing the consortium’s shared focus on maximizing the project’s impact.
As the consortium moves toward the next phase, it remains committed to developing and integrating smart, interoperable, and sustainable energy solutions that contribute to the European Union’s green transition. The meeting in Tallinn closed with renewed momentum and a clear roadmap for the months ahead, reflecting the collective dedication of all partners to the continued success of the HARMONISE project.
