Our Role in HARMONISE
Within HARMONISE, Kinnon plays a strategic role in ensuring that the project’s innovations create value beyond research.
Kinnon responsibilities include:
- Leading Communication and Dissemination activities (WP7)
- Managing Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), Exploitation, and Impact activities (WP8)
- Supporting User Engagement and Co-creation (WP4)
- Contributing to Demonstration Communication and Stakeholder Outreach (WP5)
Kinnon’s mission is clear: to maximize the visibility, exploitation potential, replicability, and long-term market uptake of the innovative solutions developed throughout the project.
Connecting Innovation with Society
Throughout the project, Kinnon’s work has focused on strengthening communication, stakeholder engagement, dissemination, and exploitation activities.
By organizing workshops, networking events, stakeholder engagement actions, outreach campaigns, newsletters, and dissemination initiatives, Kinnon has helped increase the visibility and impact of HARMONISE while fostering meaningful dialogue between researchers, industry, policymakers, local communities, and end-users.
At the same time, Kinnon’s leadership in Intellectual Property Rights and exploitation planning supports the long-term sustainability of the project’s outcomes, ensuring that HARMONISE innovations have a clear pathway beyond the project’s lifetime.
One of our key priorities has been bridging the gap between technical excellence and societal impact, making complex research accessible, understandable, and relevant for diverse stakeholder groups.

To address these challenges, Kinnon has established structured communication activities that keep technical and non-technical partners aligned while ensuring that stakeholders remain actively engaged throughout the project’s lifecycle.
